Maintenance Leaders for tomorrow Fortune 500 Heavy Industrial Manufacturer needs:
Electrical & Mechanical Engineers to bring new insight and change leadership to a seasoned facility. These positions have been newly created and offer career growth with a Fortune 500 manufacturer!
The Maintenance Supervisors will serve as the principle contact of the maintenance department for their assigned areas.
·Assist the plant department Maintenance Managers in the development and implementation of plant wide Maintenance systems, processes and resources across all Maintenance Areas.
·Meet department objectives set by the Managers to support the business objectives, without sacrificing a spirit of cooperation with other areas.
·Supervise up to 50 hourly and salaried Technical, Electrical, Mechanical and Journey Level Craft employees.
·Communicate the maintenance philosophy in their area and support the implementation of the department strategic plan, ensuring cost effective asset management and long term equipment sustainability.
·Applying root cause analysis and problem solving techniques to find and eliminate the fundamental problems.
·Implement preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
·Train, coach and mentor for maintenance Staff, while growing individuals by developing and implementing individual training plans, providing challenging work assignments.
·Provide overall leadership in the Maintenance area and to set an impeccable example in all aspects of the job.
Requirements
·Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
·5-8 yrs. experience providing Preventative and Predictive Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
·3-5 yrs. additional experience held in a Maintenance Leadership role
·Proven track record of implementing Lean (TPM's, 5S) continuous improvement projects with significant results
·Expert technical knowledge within multiple areas and disciplines
·Thorough understanding in all applicable OSHA, NFPA, and ANSI standards rules and regulations as they pertain to maintenance
·Strong Verbal and Written communication skills
·Results oriented and "Change" Leadership style!
·Expert knowledge of EHS procedures, rules and regulations pertaining to maintenance
