Description
BASIC FUNCTION
Operates a spray painter to apply industrial finishes on metal products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Prepares and paints metal products.
2. Inspects painted products to ensure compliance with G&T quality standards and customer expectations.
3. Performs ancillary duties necessary for the support of the production builds.
4. Performs additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
· 0 – 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area, may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area or specialty.
· Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
· Knowledge of S.P.C., and basic computer skills
· Understanding of G&T production processes and parts.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting (50 to 100 pounds), bending, reaching, climbing, walking, crawling, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, speaking, sight, and/or hearing to complete the job duties outlined in this job description.
