Design Engineer

                                                ProEnergy Services is looking for our next great Design Engineer!

    Successful candidate will create design models and detailed drawings using CAD software and other design methods, as well as performing assembly, testing, and inspection of tooling and systems.  

    Must be able to work well in a team environment as well as work independently as needed.  The position requires frequent travel to support field service business.  Travel can be extended overnight trips, often on short notice.  These field projects are performed primarily at nuclear power plants while working in strictly controlled ionizing radiation areas.

Our next successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related field as well as five years relevant experience. Must be proficient in 3D MCAD programs such as Autodesk Inventor and in developing designs from concept to full production. 

    Candidates should be prepared to show their past experience designing robotic tooling, developing software programs in .NET languages and developing control systems for their tooling. In addition, they should have design and assembly experience with Mechanical components, Electrical wiring systems, Servo motor control systems, and Pneumatic / Hydraulic control elements. 

    No candidates requiring sponsorship, H1 or any type of Visa.

    Excellent communication skills with diverse groups of people and strong PC proficiency required.

Physical requirements include:

• The ability to tolerate considerable stooping, bending, climbing, and standing, as well as extreme temperatures.

• Must be able to work in confined areas, and at excessive elevations.
• This job requires one to function at a production level in a harsh environment which requires special training, protective suits and special PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for access.
