Developer - VBA

Database Developer – Berlin, CT

Our client, a provider of fund raising and direct mail solutions for dioceses, parishes and schools is currently seeking a developer for their Berlin, CT location.  The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have a direct mail background and understand the data to print conversion process.  This developer will be part of a team and will work toward producing between 4.5M and 5M letter packages per year.

Responsibilities:

·         Develop and integrate specific procedures for loading/transferring data from external sources into our product database records.

·         Update existing product database records with annually updated data. Matching of source records to existing records from year to year is a must.

·         Enhance existing database records with additional data from other third party disconnected sources.

·         Integrate customer specific data records with existing product database.

Qualifications:

·         The  ability to talk on the phone and communicate intelligently with clients and co-workers

·         Computer Science Degree preferred, College Degree (4)

·         Applicant needs to be self-motivated, energetic, and a team player for a very fast paced, growing Company. 

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SQL, VBA, and .Net

·         Excellent Attention to detail
