International Biotech seeks Industry MD for Medical Director Vaccines

Our client, an international biotech company poised for explosive growth, is looking for a senior-level industry MD to be responsible for strategic clinical development for one or more specified projects within the site’s portfolio.  This position will be based in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for clinical strategy development of site products; therefore, must understand all relevant product related literature and product history
Responsible for tracking all regulatory authority interface that pertains to medical affairs and clinical issues
Insure that statistical analysis plan and data analysis are the best possible
Work closely with clinical operations director to ensure strategy is feasible and executed according to strategy

Requirements:

MD or PhD with a specialty focus in infectious diseases epidemiology, statistics and/or immunology.  Vaccines research expertise a plus.
8 to 10 years experience with clinical development and/or medical affairs in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
Excellent leadership skills, demonstrated writing abilities, very experienced with project management tools

Our client is offering a very attractive compensation (up to 180K base salary) and benefits package.
