Description GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – Performs administrative duties relative to physician contracting. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 1. Performs complex administrative duties relative to physician contracting, including composing correspondence, and coordinating resources across corporate functions. 2. Interacts with hospital CEOs, liaisons and Area Practice Managers to gather information to complete employment or recruitment agreements. 3. Receives Action Plan Worksheet (APW) from the hospital, makes note of income ranges based on industry averages and forwards APW and industry information to Operations Vice President for approval. 4. Prepares employment and recruitment agreements and sends agreements to potential physician candidates. 5. Interacts with corporate legal department and makes required changes to employment and recruitment agreements. 6. Tracks employment and recruitment agreements through the Upside routing system until all reviews have been completed then sends approved agreements to physician candidate. 7. Forwards fully-executed recruitment agreements, W-9 and Action Plan Worksheet to Income Guarantee and employed physician. 8. Forwards fully-executed stipend program agreements to Income Guarantee to begin payments to residents/fellows. 9. Handles various administrative details with initiative and good judgment. 10. Providing general administrative support including typing, answering multiple phone lines, indexing and filing documents, making copies, handling travel arrangements, and scheduling meetings. 11. Assisting other staff as requested. 12. Attending meetings as assigned and reporting on actions. 13. Participating in educational activities and programs. 14. Maintaining strictest confidentiality. 15. Performing related work as required. 16. Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.
Requirements 1. Knowledge of general management principles. 2. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems. 3. Ability to type 60 wpm. 4. Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment. 5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. 6. High level of proficiency with MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. EDUCATION - High school diploma or GED is required. Associates or Bachelors degree in business administration is preferred. EXPERIENCE - Four to five years of administrative experience is required, including at least one year in a healthcare organization (appropriate education may be substituted for experience).
