Risk Manager - Prevention

Responsible for risk management activities at an assigned facility. Administer the risk management plan on a day-to-day basis, managing and analyzing risk management data, conducting risk management education programs, complying with the risk management related standards by Joint Commission and other accrediting and regulatory agencies with the objective of enhancing patient safety, promoting patient safety, quality care and minimizing loss to protect the assets of the organization.

Candidates must have 5 years of clinical or medical legal experience to include 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity and 2 years of risk management experience as a Risk Manager in Prevention. A Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a closely related field, or equivalent years of related experience may be substituted on a 2-for-1 basis. The Healthcare Risk Manager must obtain a license within 1 year of employment. Advanced PC literacy required.
