Description

Civil Engineer

Our client is consulting firm providing a variety of architectural and engineering services from early planning studies to complete A/E design. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for:

Building their staff and being in charge of it
Report to a principal in charge only using them for a guide
Highway and traffic design in Illinois
Business Development. Generate work and build strong client relationships
Project Management

Requirements Required Skills

BSCE
Illinois license plus the PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer) designation
At least 5 years Civil Engineering experience
At least 5 years working on IDOT contracts
Experience managing projects and leading others
Strong technical ability with design software
Proven leader
Understand finances
Ability to make decisions
Good negotiator
Tolerate stress well
Technical knowledge (micro station & Geopac
