B.E. Smith, a national leader in healthcare recruitment, would like to inform you about an outstanding opportunity within a client hospital in a beautiful Minnesota community for a Director of Nursing.  An excellent salary, commensurate with background and experience, is available.

 

 

Position

  • Reports to the Hospital Administrator
  • The Director of Nursing will be responsible for the executive direction of nursing services with oversight of surgical services, emergency services, cardiac rehabilitation, obstetrics, Medical/surgical, pharmacy, as well as respiratory therapy
  • Ideal candidates will be registered nurses who are clinically competent, possess strong communication, relationship building, and leadership skills, and have in-depth compliance knowledge that will foster a customer service environment
  • The nursing leader will have three to five years acute care experience, preferably in a critical access hospital.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.

 

Hospital

  • This critical access hospital, also includes a 43-bed skilled nursing long-term care facility, a full-service family clinic, and is part of a larger system.
  • The facility offers a complete range of services encompassing inpatient care including surgery and maternity, outpatient services, emergency department, home care and hospice, long-term care, and various specialties, they also have ten providers on staff specializing in family practice and surgery. 

 

Community

  • This community with an estimated population of approximately 4,300 has a lot to offer from Native American History to the latest in Wind Technology. 
  • The town has a Historic District that is one of Minnesota's largest with twenty beautiful Sioux Quartzite buildings built in the 1880-1900 time period
  • Residents enjoy evenings at the theatre, shopping, a recreation center, Family Aquatic Center, as well as golf and many other outdoor recreational activities.
