Retail Marketing Coordinator-SS12419
Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Retail Marketing Coordinators to be located in the Charlotte, NC area. The Retail Marketing Coordinators are responsible to work with store management and associates to maintain plan-o-gram integrity and keep bays fully stocked. Exceptional relationships between Department Manager, department associates and assigned store associate are necessary to help keep plan-o-gram integrity between store visits. Additionally, business acumen and good selling skills will enable RMC’s to obtain incremental space in the store that will help grow Johns Manville’s share with Lowe’s. Key Responsibilities:
· Drive Sales o Increase sales of Johns Manville products by gaining incremental space within Lowe’s stores, transferring product knowledge, conducting selling events and correctly merchandising existing products
· Executing key merchandising & marketing initiatives
· Selling event strategy execution at point of sale
· Support Lowe’s generated Contractor specific events
· Replenish in-aisle point of purchase materials
· Build end caps
· Reset activity within all Lowe’s stores
· New product execution in plan-o-gram
· Transfer product knowledge to Lowe’s associates, Department Managers and Store Managers
· Consult Key Decision Makers on store level business decisions
· Develop relationships with influential individuals at the store and district levels to gain support on key initiatives
· Advise store management of opportunities to effectively manage or sell through inventory
Requirements
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in a similar role, in lieu of degree
· 1 year of related experience in a retail industry (big box/home center)
· Able to meet the physical demands of lifting up to 50lbs and climbing on ladders
· Ability to travel daily in a broad geographic area, vehicle is provided
· Must be able to work some evening and weekends to align with store openings and training
· Provide value added sales approach to end users and store personnel
· Must have professional presentation skills
· Product knowledge in building science
· Merchandising experience
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Inventory management experience
· Strong organizational skills
· Demonstrated customer orientation and focus
· Flexibility to interact with store managers to physically move product if needed
