The Dover DE campus of the Harris School of Business is looking for professionals who are interested in sharing their real world experience with students.  This is an outstanding career opportunity with an organization that is rapidly growing.  All instructor positions are part-time; Day instructors teach Monday through Thursday 8am – 2pm, and Evening instructors teach Tuesday through Thursday 6p – 10p.  Occasionally additional hours and/or travel may be needed for training sessions.

We are hiring for the following positions:

Health Claims Specialist Instructor – Part Time - Day or Evening - DOVER DE

Responsibilities:

• Classroom instruction and management. 

• Uphold School’s Mission

• Maintain positive student retention. 

• Participate in Instructor training.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Medical Biller or Health Claims Examiner

• Completion of a formal training program in Medical Billing or Health Claims Examining (extensive experience may be substituted for formal education)

• Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Terminology.

• A positive attitude towards change and desire to learn new methodologies and systems.

• Superior interpersonal and persuasive communications skills.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  

• Certification as a Medical Biller, Medical Coder, or Health Claims Examiner
• Teaching experience helpful, but not required.
