Pharmacist/Consultant/Business Development

This is a closed pharmacy environment servicing LTC facilities.  Duties include dispensing, script verifications, dosing, pharmacological recommendations, and consulting with medical professionals on patient therapies and outcomes.  The shift is primarily a M-F first shift, but there are some weekends and some "on-call" responsibilities.

Consulting duties focused on client (LTC facilities) issues and needs will also be part of this dynamic opportunity.  Cost control, medication efficiencies, formulary determination, and  sound pharmacy practices will be within the realm of your consulting duties.  It is the goal of your firm to provide the best pharmacy services available, with a high priority on customer services and partnering.

We are also seeking a pharmacist who wants to learn the business side of this enterprise.  There is a great opportunity for upward mobility here, but you must bring the interest, intellectual curiosity, and business sense to expand and exploit this opportunity.

• Currently licensed as a practicing pharmacist - Kentucky preferred, but will consider candidates qualified for reciprocation

• Pharmacy license must be in good standing

• Prefer PharmD degree, but LTC or equally commensurate experience will be considered

• Recent grads with at least one year experience as a pharmacist can be considered

• Good customer service and people skills
