Direct Care

AWS, an agency dedicated to providing quality services to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, currently has direct care staff openings in our Osceola group homes. Responsibilities include: Assisting clients with personal care, medication administration & support with daily activities. Previous experience working with people who have disabilities is preferred, but not required. A caring personality is required! Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, HS diploma/equiv & current auto insurance. This position DOES NOT require you to transport clients in your own vehicle, but does require you to transport clients in company van when necessary.  AWS pays for experience; the pay rates listed below are the minimum starting rates. Great experience for those wanting to enter the nursing or social services fields.

The following shifts in Osceola are currently open:
:

9am- 9pm Sat & 9am-3pm Sun - 18 hrs/week, minimum starting pay $9.00/hr

9pm-9am Fri & Sat - 24 hrs/week, minimum starting pay $9.00/hr

3pm-9pm Fri, 9am-9pm Sat & 9am-11pm Sun  - 32 hrs/week with FT benefits, minimum starting pay $9.00/hr

In addition, AWS offers a quarterly incentive totaling $1000/yr to all direct care staff who meet the requirements.
