Description

This position will be responsible for servicing mobile cataract and SLT customers. They will maintain all equipment, including a company vehicle, and manage the inventory. Other duties: maintaining and delivering equipment to mobile cataract, SLT customers and helping during the procedures, including scrub duties ; maintaining inventory efficiently and being accountable for the condition and status of equipment; completing and returning all paperwork to the director, while relaying all current surgeon and facility preferences.

Requirements

To qualify, candidates must possess a degree in Surgical Technology and either be a Certified Surgical Technician or be eligible to sit for CST Exam. Candidates should be highly organized and possess basic computer skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also necessary. Ideal candidates will have operating room/ophthalmic experience. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills for the development of relationships with doctors and their staff. This position requires frequent travel. A clean driving record is necessary.
