Description
Audit Seniors are gaining knowledge of the Firm’s policies and procedures and serve as mentors to staff accountants. They exhibit advancing technical proficiency and the ability to complete engagements timely and within budgets established.
Responsibilities:
Audit Senior:
1) Performs audits including advance planning, research, and preparing appropriate reports for supervisor or partner.
2) Provides technical advice to other staff and team members regarding audits.
3) Mentors staff in technical and procedural areas.
4) Ensures that deadlines are met and monitors job control assignments.
5) Institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures.
6) Assists on special assignments and projects with Partners as needed.
7) Has direct client contact as approved by partners.
8) Perform Audit research and planning.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
1. Degree in Accounting.
2. Minimum of 4 years experience in public accounting industry required.
3. Knowledge of database, internet, and accounting and/or computer application systems to provide the most accurate financial information.
