Description Fiscal Management
-Develop consistent and effective financial management systems.
-Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for the ISO to comply with all appropriate University business regulations for business units including appropriate procedures for external sales.
-Analyze financial data to determine current status, need for budget changes and spending/revenue patterns in order to determine internal rates.
-Record property accounting and maintain depreciation spreadsheets.
-Develop a monthly reporting structure to show available financial data for planning, cash flow, and projecting budget balances and data collection.
 
Laboratory Design and Service for Teaching and Research
-Works with Electronics Department manager to provide faculty, staff, and students preparation for ECE laboratory supplies and equipment.
-Coordinates with the Electronic Shop to provide technical expertise and support regarding the operation and maintenance of the laboratory equipment.
-Coordinates with the Electronic Shop to design, construct and modify equipment as needed.
-Assists in the design of demonstrations to accomplish educational goals.
-Cooperates with teaching faculty, committees and others to provide or share in laboratory services.
-Keeps current in all applicable phases of relevant research progress as well as in equipment and materials and scientific techniques used in scientific teaching.
-Consults with academic staff on variety of demonstrations of scientific principles and equipment use, scheduling of space, materials and equipment.
-Assists the ECE Dept. Research Safety Officer (RSO) in implementing safety training and procedures for research laboratories. Assist the RSO in conducting periodic safety inspections and prepare reports to ensure teaching and research laboratories meet University, state, and federal regulations.
ECE Depot Management & Operations
-Manages purchasing of supplies and equipment and maintains sufficient inventories for the ECE stockroom. Maintains an up-to-date list of supplies and services available in the ECE stockroom
-Provides training and supervision of stockroom student workers.
-Maintains a listing of supplies and service available in other departments on campus
-Oversee the shipping and receiving
Requirements Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
P&A (Coordinator):
Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. Demonstrated ability to manage complex interrelated operations from a systems perspective.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with system development, organizational management, operational effectiveness and efficiency. Proven experience with problem solving in technical areas and analyzing data. Experience working with and/or managing a diverse population.
