My client is seeking a Director of Marketing for the Personal Computer, Display and Printer product lines. The selected Director of Marketing will be responsible for two highly important key functions. The first and primary function is to develop and maintain updated business strategies for PC, Printer, and Display businesses to achieve continued growth and profitability and to manage the Integrated Marketing department which includes Marketing Communications (Advertising, PR, Major Events & Tradeshows, Market Sensing, Online and Sports Marketing). The second function for the Director of Marketing is Channel Marketing (Communication with channel partners including administration of the company's channel program - P3, spiff and MDF programs and management of Field Marketing team). The ideal Director of Marketing (PC, Printer, Display) will have extensive experience in building MARCOM platforms in the B2B and B2C space. This requires a successful track record in progressive PR tactics, integrated advertising campaigns, exceptional channel and editor relationships, extensive agency experience (working with, etc.). BS or BA degree (MBA preferred)
15 + years combined experience with Strategic Marketing and Integrated Marketing roles
5 + years experience in a large personal computer/printer company including pc's displays, peripherals, software or storage
Extensive experience in building MARCOM platforms in the B2B and B2C space
Successful track record in progressive PR tactics, integrated advertising campaigns, exceptional channel and editor relationships, extensive agency experience (working with, etc.)
Proven track record of developing and executing effective, profit maximizing strategies
Demonstrated record of driving increased sales through IMC activities
Strong project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and achieve objectives within budget and in a timely manner
Excellent team management experience managing teams up to 25 people
Proven experience managing department budgets in excess of $20M per year
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Microsoft Office Skills Required
SAP and BW (Business Warehouse) experience a plus
