EchoStar isseeking an Engineer I to provide exceptional technical and operational systemsupport for a mix of computing hardware and software platforms. The role of this candidate is to implementand maintain server infrastructure supporting a diverse set of applications andto provide AIX, Linux, and Windows systems administration across multipleplatforms. This position will workclosely with various Engineering and Operation teams in all phases ofdevelopment, implementation, and operations.

Given the mission critical nature of ourapplications you must have the ability to work well under pressure and possessa desire to work in a fast-paced and continually growing environment. Theskills listed below are representative of the experience, knowledge, and skillsrequired:
Two to three years of experience performing general Linux and Windows system administration including installation, maintenance, upgrade, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting and resolving operating system issues
Education Desired:
Bachelor’sdegree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, or Engineeringor equivalent experience, plus two or more years work experience.
