Leasing Consultant

  Organization Details: A client of SOI's, is searching for an experienced Leasing Consultant for the Lexington, SC location.

Duties of the Leasing Consultant include but are not limited to:

• Leasing Consultants are required to handle the leasing process on the property, including qualifying prospects, answering the telephone, obtaining and appointment with the prospect, showing the property and leasing available units.
• Greeting prospects; touring model or market ready units; meet closing goals set for the property and company.
• Accepting and processing applications for residency; completing Apartment Lease and Addendums; completing all moving details.
• Lease renewals; utilize the “We Care" program; write-up maintenance works orders and status board of repairs, etc.
• Answering telephone; checking with answering service for messages; distributing mail.
• Maintain courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospects; accepting rent and following up on delinquencies as directed.
• Maintaining files as needed; following owner and management procedures as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. 
• Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry or equivalent customer service position.
• Must be outgoing, creative, organized, and willing to learn. 
• Must be a self starter and able to meet deadlines. 
• Bi-lingual helpful.
• Driver’s license preferred.
