Description ** 12 month contract **

JOB DUTIES:   Investigates, develops and verifies accuracy of tooling concepts and tooling definitions. Researches tool designs to create and revise tool usage instructions. Prepares tool design or fabrication off load packages. Provides engineering design disposition on tool discrepancies to identify solutions. Develops, documents and maintains complex tool inspection and maintenance requirements. Participates in multi-functional product design reviews to support manufacturing/tooling plan. Works under general direction.

With minimal direction, investigates design precedents, collects and incorporates design requirements, identifies material needs and sources, creates and revises drawings/models/tool usage instructions (e.g., detail, assembly, installation) applying company, industry and governmental standards (e.g., design, drafting, parts) and using manual and/or computer aided design drafting methods (e.g., orthographic projection, descriptive geometry, mathematical principles) to develop a review package for concurrence and design release. Checks designs and datasets for accuracy and compliance to standards.
With minimal direction, provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests, trouble reports) by investigating manufacturing and test problems, researching and analyzing product data (e.g., drawings, parts standards, specifications) and coordinating with cross-functional groups (e.g., production en


Requirements JOB SKILLS:   CATIA V4. AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
