Advanced Testing Laboratory, Inc. is a rapidly growing company seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals to join our leadership team of dedicated professionals focused on customer service and quality.

ATMG is looking for an Laboratory Group Leader / Supervisor who will:

Supervise and schedule work for 5 - 7 associates in an analytical lab to ensure testing is being completed on time and in accordance to established guidelines.
Mentor and enhance staff performance to create a scientific climate of excellence to achieve goals.
Need to be hands on in lab, routinely completing work and staying close to the science through testing and technical troubleshooting. This will require ~ 60% hands-on testing and method development with the remaining ~ 40% dedicated to supervision of reports and workflow management.
Communicate and report on a daily basis, to customers, management, and other internal departments to testing status, technical issues, or other related information.

Requirements

Experience:

3 - 5 years of analytical experience working in a laboratory with some proven ability to coach and lead others.
Analytical chemistry or biological testing experience is highly preferred.

Education:

Minimum of BS degree in Science-related field or combination of education and work experience in analytical or biology laboratory (5+ years minimum experience required if not degreed).
