Description DIRECTOR, ADMISSIONS & OUTREACH
Graduate Division
Oversees campuswide admission for over 50 graduate programs and is responsible for developing strategies to attract and retain a diverse, highly qualified graduate student population. Central campus contact for Graduate admission policy and procedure. Engages in strategic planning of Graduate Division led student recruitment and retention activities.

Notes: Fingerprinting required.  Occasional work hours beyond M-F; 8-5. $4,127 - $4,600/mo.  For primary consideration apply by 11/17/09, thereafter open until filled.

The UCSB 989-acre campus is located on the California coast, approximately 10 miles north of the city of Santa Barbara (population: 87,000) and approximately 100 miles north of Los Angeles. Requirements Proven written and verbal communication skills. Experience in program administration and analysis\.  Proven ability to assimilate, analyze, and present information and data from diverse sources, electronic or hard copy.  Proven experience with MS Office suite including Word, Excel and Access.
