Maintenance Manager

                          MAINTENANCE MANAGER - GROWING COMPANY - $67-89K

Great location to live and raise a growing family.  Due to strong sales and repeat business, our client has an immediate need for a Maintenance Manager.  A related Bachelors degree would be helpful, along with experience in setting up preventative and predictive maintenance programs.  You could be leading maintenance now, or be a Plant Engineer, etc looking to make that next step in your career. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversees and leads an experienced team of maintenance mechanics, electricians, etc involved in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing,  and installation of equipment.

2. Involved in key decisions for the department, including preventative programs using software, setting budgets, daily planning, keeping machine downtimes to a minimum, etc.

3. Requires strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making skills.  Ability to work with all levels from floor employees to vendors to top management personnel.

4. Experience working with high speed packaging equipment helpful.  Ability to assess and troubleshoot PLC equipment , motors, drives, etc would be beneficial.

5. Experience with refrigeration, boilers, and related equipment would be helpful.

6. Involved in lean manufacturing, continuos improvement, and cost reduction programs.

7. Requires a strong management prescence, ability to lead programs, people, and meet goals.  Experience with capital equipment justification and implementation.
