Job Summary:
Flagstar Bank is seeking a detail oriented, analytical minded individual to join our commercial loan risk department as a credit analyst. This individual will be responsible for completing basic analysis of commercial and warehouse loan requests and making recommendations for approval or denial.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze commercial and warehouse loan request packages.
- Spread and review financial information.
- Prepares loan committee persentations that are used by senior management and some of which go to the Board of Directors.
- Monitor financial condition of existing borrowers.
- Create management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelors, undergraduate or technical degree.
- Previous commercial real estate experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly refined facilitation skills, as well as solid problem solving, conflict resolution and team building skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership and staff within the organization, work autonomously, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and remain flexible and adaptable.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision is required.
- Competently utilize computer software.
- Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:30 - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday, some weekend or evening hours may be required upon business need.
