Computech urgently requires a Communications Engineer to provide technical expertise for a team of economists and mathematicians. The successful candidate will be on the front line of planning and optimizing DTV broadcast facility locations- put your engineering and analytical expertise to work!

Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and optimization of digital television broadcast facility locations through resolution of engineering matters, such as signal strength, interference, as well as signal propagation and geospatial issues
• Provide engineering support in terms of coverage planning, site identification, frequency planning, and interference analysis
• Work on a team with other engineers, economists, and mathematicians

• At least a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of work experience in radio frequency spectrum analysis, technical network design, and exposure to telecommunications policy issues
• Knowledge of radio frequency spectrum allocation and spectrum management
• Knowledge of digital television service and DTV signal propagation
• Data Savvy, analytical thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills
