ACI is actively recruiting for Cable TV / High Speed Internet / Telephony Installer Technicians for our new greater Greenville & Spartanburg, SC metro area operation to install Cable services in residential homes.

We are seeking both experienced CATV Installers (Cable & Satellite TV Installers), related-eperience (CCTV, home security, home entertainment systems, eletrical, phone, even HVAC) and non-experienced candidates who are mechanically inclined and eager to begin their career within this exciting industry. We have several positions available and do provide a PAID training period for inexperienced candidates.

Requirements An Installation Technician's primary responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
  • Installing Cable TV from the pole/pedestal into & throughout a customer's home
  • Installing needed equipment at the side of the house
  • Installation of interior outlets and connection of all customer premise equipment

    The Technician will also perform service upgrades, downgrades, as well as installation and disconnection of High-Speed Internet (HSI) service and digital phone service (VoIP). Also required is troubleshooting a customer's system so as to isolate, repair, and service related problems. Educating customers on how to properly operate the equipment and services installed is also a fundamental part of this position. QUALITY WORKMANSHIP is the key to our success! Therefore, only people who are team oriented, have excellent customer service skills, and are committed to providing high quality work will be considered for this position.

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must have a clean driving record
    • Must pass a drug test and a background check
    • Must be able to work outside, all year around, in all weather conditions
    • Must be able to lift, carry, and safely handle an 80-pound, 28-foot extension ladder
    • Must NOT be afraid of heights (typically 15 to 25 feet above ground)
    • Must be able to effectively use hand and power tools
    • Must be able to work long hours and up to six days a week on a regular basis
    • Must be a highly motivated person with an eye towards high production
    • Must be organized, well groomed and
    • Must have good written and oral communication skills
    • Prior customer service experience a PLUS.
