Job Description: 

Sigma Space is looking to add an experienced Financial Analyst to our team. Responsibilities will include:

• Provide financial and accounting support by reviewing invoices, handling funding requisitions and assisting with contract oversight duties.
• Maintain program budgets and work breakdown structures
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly reporting
• Provide accounting support, including financial and cost analysis and individual compliance efforts.
• Create ad hoc reports, develop data mining techniques from several relational data systems, and design report queries as needed

Financial Analyst

Requirements:

• The Financial Analyst must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools with specialized experience in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in macro programming and the development and use of multiple-concurrent spreadsheets a plus.

• The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working for a government contractor and be well educated regarding FAR regulation and compliance.

   

• BS or BA in accounting, economics, financial management, or related field from an accredited four (4) year college or university. Additional credits toward a master’s degree, CPA, or MBA a plus.
