Experienced Family Centered Specialists

The Institute for Family Centered Services (IFCS), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to strengthening and preserving families through innovative in-home counseling, seeks candidates for the position of Family Centered Specialist. These positions are available in our Gastonia, NC office, serving families residing in Mecklenburg and Lincoln Counties (Piedmont Region) and Gaston County (West Piedmont Region).

Our family counselors serve families by providing in-home family counseling. Additional specialty areas of counseling may include comprehensive assessments, intensive case management, sex offender treatment, substance abuse treatment, and family support services. Primary responsibility is to provide the Family Centered Treatment™; a model of Intensive In-Home Family Preservation Services.  

Required skill/experience: Licensed or Provisionally Licensed in Mental Health or Qualified Professional in Mental Health with at least 1 year documented experience working with the child or adult mental health populations.
