We are New Horizon Health & Rehabilitation in Gainesville, FL, a 159 bed Greystone Healthcare Management facility offering an opportunity for an experienced RN to oversee the administrative and functional areas in our Nursing Department.  We are looking for an ambitious leader who shares our vision and desire to provide the very best patient care.

The Assistant Director of Nursing maintains outcome focused care and services for each resident with direct responsibility for the overall management of the department including staff development, infection control, quality improvement, safety etc.

And that’s just the basics. 

Requirements -Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing, licensed by the state of Florida.  Ideal candidates will have supervisory/management experience in healthcare specifically in long term care environment.

-MUST HAVE SUB-ACUTE/MED SURG Background.

-Demonstrates understanding of state and federal regulations that govern the practice of the facility.

-Must meet all local health regulations, and pass post-employment physical exam if required. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
