RN NEEDED

This is a school nurse position at educational institution in the Bronx.

Pay rate: 36, 37/hr

Job will last til end of December 2009. Possible extension through January.

Nurse MUST be Spanish Bilingual and have either corrections experience or school nurse experience

or Large institutional community health experience.

Hours:
4p-9p Monday - Friday, and Saturday 10a-4p

First week of orientation, shift will begin at 3pm.

Daily duties will be evaluating students, staff, and faculty. Handling cuts, bruises, gen eval, making calls when community health notifications are necessary.

Candidates MUST Read, Write and Speak Spanish.

You may be drafting emails on community health fairs or health practices in Spanish.

Job may be extended.

Requirements License in NY State - Registered Nurse
Bilingual Spanish - Read, Write and Speak.

Experience in school nursing, or community health. will also consider nurses with experience in a large institutional setting.

1 year experience post license.
