Donor Center Director

Octapharma Plasma Inc. is an international company specializing in collection of specialty and normal source plasma.

We are seeking an excellent Center Director for our Charleston Donor Plasma Center to lead our teams to operational success. The successful candidate should be able to coach, motivate, lead and inspire a team to exceed all performance and operational goals.

• Must be able to handle all personnel issues to include attendance and work performance;
• Manage quality and procedural compliance;
• Handle customer service issues while ensuring adherence to all measures of quality service guidelines and standard operational procedures.
• Management experience in a donor center or medical setting strongly preferred.

DONOR CENTER DIRECTOR

 The qualified Center Director candidate will possess the following:

Donor Center or healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Strong employee supervision/management experience. 

• Bachelors Degree in science or management related field preferred or three to five years experience as a Center Director in the plasma proteins industry.
• Ensures the total operation is in compliance with facility Donor Center Operating Manual (DCOP), State and Federal (FDA) Rules and Regulations, OSHA requirements, and CLIA requirements.
• Develop strong internal working relationships to assist in achieve operational goals and foster teamwork.
• Ability to strategize internally with operational management to balance short-term and tactical needs.
• Extensive and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Directs and supervises donor center employees to maintain quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to develop staff to ensure a competent, compliant and quality team.
• Excellent analytical and decision making skills
• Demonstrated initiative and self motivation.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Effective PC and Microsoft Office skills required.
• Flexibility in work schedule to include evenings and weekends based on business need.
