Developer - Fulfillment Systems

Job Description:

The Developer is responsible for designing and implementing solutions based on requirements from the business. The Developer uses Microsoft Studio 2005/2008 to develop solutions with languages like C# or VB.net and works with web based technologies, and other systems to provide support to the warehouse and other fulfillment systems. The Developer works with the Technical Manager to define solutions and implements those solutions according to the agreed upon design. The Developer keeps the Technical Manager updated on their progress on projects. The Developer should have a degree in Computer Science and needs to have a broad background in .Net 1.1 and 2.0, SQL Server, SOA, and OOD either through formal study, practical application experience, or both.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years experience in software development experience with Microsoft technologies including .Net (VB.Net or C#), eporting services, XML / XSLT, email systems, COTS reporting packages

• 2-3  years experience with SQL Server 2000 and/or 2005
• .Net languages, SQL Server Skills, reporting services, XML / XSLT, email systems, COTS reporting packages.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with shipping / email Technologies
• Ability to interact with all levels within an organization and be effective within the business and technical departments
• Ability to handle shifting timelines and priority
• Ability to manage team and deliverables in a fast paced eCommerce company.
