Senior Collector

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a point of contact relative to any and all Liquidating Home Equity delinquency, foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, loan loss.
• Manages the daily collections and asset resolution of the liquating portfolio.
• Maintains and documents accurate collection notes/records via the On-Line collection System.
• Researches and achieve viable resolution to delinquent accounts within the assigned queue.
• Recommends for approval consideration loss mitigation and/or workout proposals, charge off or settlement/accelerated disposition to management.
• Negotiatets with external parties to maximize economic value of the assets assigned.
• Performs such other duties aas may be assigned by the VP of Default.

Education

• BS preferred: 4 year degree in Business or Liberal Arts or relevant experience

Job Skills

• Strong knowledge of Investor and Insurer Loss Mitigation requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excelelnt Residential and Consumer product knowledge.
• Excellent Loan Servicing knowledge (Investor, Escrow, Payoff, Cashiering, ARM)
• Excellent mathematics skills.
• Ability to work independently.
