Electrical Controls Engineer


We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer for our client company located in the Southeast.

The ideal candidate will have professional knowledge and experience with controls, assembly, electrical, hydraulics, machining, pneumatic controls. Looking for someone that is comfortable taking risks, a self starter, able to work well in team environments and has demonstrated solid project management skills.

Position requires knowledge of AutoCad, pressure transducers, RTDs, PID control loops, Modicon, analog and digital I/O, Allen Bradley’s (AB’s) or other PLC’s. Familiarity with visual Basic, C, C++, Visual C++ a plus.

Position does require a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related and a minimum of 8 years of electrical controls experience.

Requirements

Preferred Areas of Expertise:

  • Professional knowledge and a solid history with control systems, design, electricals, hydraulics, pneumatics and associated drawings 
  •  8 years of experience using Allen Bradley PLCs in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor of Science- Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • A strong record of personal accomplishments i.e. program mgmt. personal mgmt. and excellent analytical and communication skills
