Education Counselor

Description:

The Education Counselor is responsible to generate revenue through effective consultative selling over the telephone.     

Essential Job Duties:

·         Generate revenue through consultative selling

·         Handle all client calls in a professional, ethical, and positive manner

·         Meet or exceed individual goals, including revenue and phone productivity metrics

·         Attend all sales meetings and required training

·         Effectively  contact and follow-up with all students and prospects based on leads assigned in Customer Relationship Management software

·         Complete Investools product certification training  

·         Work cooperatively with other departments and sales teams to ensure sales goals are reached

·         Ensure customer satisfaction by working with other departments such as Student Services

·         Other job related duties as required by management.

Skills Required:

·         Excellent consultative selling skills

·         Outstanding telephone skills

·         Work independently

·         Good organization and time management skills

·         Knowledge of basic PC operations, Windows-based applications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Experience: 5 years in sales; Telephone sales experience required.
