Description

Harrison College , a leader in private, post-secondary education, is currently seeking a creative, dedicated individual to serve as a Medical Program Coordinator for our Anderson Indiana campus location.  This position coordinates all aspects of the medical programs to include instruction, student externships, medical labs, accreditation, advising, and supervisory responsibilities.

Harrison College's mission is driven by student-centered education and individualized attention.  Throughout their Harrison College experience, students receive one-on-one support from enrollment representatives, financial aid analysts, faculty and staff.  Plus, a robust career services staff helps students identify their skills and interests, and assists with resume writing and interviewing skills.  Those services are available for the students’ lifetimes, not just upon graduation.

Requirements Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred and documented instruction in educational theory or techniques, current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential, and documented a minimum of 40 hours of experience in an ambulatory health care setting performing or observing administrative and clinical procedures of medical assisting. The selected candidate must acquire the preferred qualifications within 60 days after hire (unless already qualified) in order to meet accreditation standards and maintain employment status with Harrison College.
