Description SDN Communications, a leading regional telecommunications company, is looking for an experienced, detailed and logical individual to fill the position of Network Technician. Responsibilities include maintenance and provisioning on a variety of equipment including Sonet, DACS, DWDM & Optical Switch. Manage permanent Internet connections such as T1, DS3, Ethernet, Frame Relay, ATM, etc. Understanding of IP multicast, VPLS, MPLS, IP forwarding functions, Layer 2 switching. Experience with IP networks would also be beneficial.

Requirements

Position requires shift work and on-call responsibilities.

Position requires an Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
