We are currently looking for licensed Pharmacy Technicians that want to pursue a full-time corporate opportunity in the Northern Chicago suburbs.

The  job responsibilities include the following:

  

- Evaluate prior authorization requests and handle any documentation required.

- Approve or denial prior authorizations based on criteria.

- Handling inbound and outbound calls to physicians and pharmacies for further clinical review for medications.

- Advise patients, pharmacies and hospitals of preferred medications and therapies.

-Data entry of patients' information and requests.

Requirements

Qualified Candidates Must Meet the Following Requirements:

 

  • Currently hold, or will hold, a valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License

  • At least a year of experience working in a pharmacy setting
  • Great customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation
