Bachelors degree in business, finance and/or economics, and a minimum of 10 years experience in lending/credit analysis experience with Farm Credit Services or a related agricultural credit organization. A minimum of five years of collection and litigation experience specific to agricultural or commercial accounts. Previous leadership experience preferred.
Duties require:
• Excellent working understanding of collection processes and regulations, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, business law and legal procedures.

• A general working knowledge of Farm Credit Services of America processes.
• Good understanding of credit extension and loan administration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Farm Credit Services of America's financial products and services.
• In-depth understanding of agricultural finance and farm production methods, products, and profitability.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, Association policies, and office lending expectations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Maintain current awareness of social, economic, governmental, and environmental forces impacting agriculture.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Extensive internal contact within ABF, credit division, regional office teams, retail offices and staff, Vice Presidents-Business Development, and Vice Presidents-Credit Services. Regular contact with Omaha credit and legal team. Extensive external contact with customers, attorneys, accountants.
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to understand and explain various subject matter and consulting concepts, programs, terminology, and methods.
• Ability to reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate, decide, and critique such information as written material, numerical data, responses to customer needs, and/or other related work activities.
• Ability to use and understand various computer software programs related to carrying out essential responsibilities of the position.
• Ability to complete work in acceptable timeframes and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job.
• Ability to operate a telephone and respond to calls and in-person inquiries.
• Ability to travel (approximately 30% of time in overnight travel) via automobile or commercial transportation to carry out essential responsibilities.
• Ability to use computer. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information.
• Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer.
• Ability to move about the office with occasional reaching and bending.
• Ability to successfully interact with and represent the organization to staff, officers, board members, customers, industry specialists, and the public at all levels.
• Ability to use a keyboard/calculator/computer. This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information.
