Description

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

Provides strategic direction and daily leadership for assigned operations; manages service staff in efficient, ethical and profitable fashion; builds a cohesive team dedicated to ongoing service improvement:

·        Creates and manages a regional service infrastructure that ensures a professional staff and pool of qualified associates

·        Ensures all Branch offices and Performance Partnerships achieve service standards: to Branch audit specifications - client satisfaction scores, 90-day service survey and under 25% turnover rate; to Performance Partnership standards - 100% fill ratio, 4-5 quality score, 4 completed quality control checks and 100% fulfillment on compliance requirements

·        Ensures Branch business(es) support the CORESTAFF Sales Management System for attainment of new business, sales development, and account penetration objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

·        As required, manage assigned branches to their P&L and report monthly variances.

·        As requested, participates in ongoing sales meetings and activities as well as periodic regional strategic planning initiatives.

·        Responsible for service management of the assigned Branch offices and Performance Partnership staff; develops thorough understanding of the client’s work environment and business culture.

·        Uses a consultative approach to build productive business relationships with existing and prospective clients; ensures service levels meet or exceed expectations.

·        Audits Branches and Performance Partnerships for compliance on profitability, service quality; calculated pay/bill rates, application of accurate workers compensation rates/calculations and client discounts, proper benefit payments and practices, as well as requirements for employment standards and job safety.

·        Coordinates with corporate and regional executives on business development priorities and related actions (cross selling efforts, sales presentations, referrals); provides service assistance on bids/proposals and pricing strategies.

·        Facilitates the implementation of best industry and company practices and quality initiatives; provides assistance, where requested, on special projects, etc.

·        Participates in the recruitment, selection, orientation, development and retention of high caliber staff; ensures offices have well qualified/suited staffing professionals, properly trained, to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.

·        Ensures offices have necessary tools, systems and other resources to enhance service effectiveness/efficiency.

·        Ensures that assigned operations maintain a consistent focus on profitability and superior client service; provides guidance and support in the retention of profitable business; builds relationships at key accounts.

·        Ensures that Performance Partnership operate profitably, through the management of margins, SG&A, direct hire and liquidation fees, reliance on TPVs, balance of traditional/payroll service mix and safety/plant operations.

·        Ensures that Branch service standards are achieved on a continual basis:  100% client retention, 4-5 Quality score, 100% compliance on client service agreement requirements and less than 25% turnover rate.

·        Analyzes financial performance indicators and ongoing branch activity; participates in Branch Operations Reviews; provides feedback on strengthening key competencies, attracts high caliber temporary associates and develops profitable revenue and manages operating expenses; provides financial guidelines relative to  new business proposals, expanded services and new accounts.

·        Facilitates effective teamwork among Service and Performance Partnership Managers; provides ongoing support to ensure appropriate human resource utilization.

·        Supports the prompt and effective resolution of legal, financial, H.R., administrative and safety/workers’ compensation issues.

·        Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The following are the qualification requirements that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.  Please note that the qualification requirements may vary based upon the branch size and/or geographic location.

 

 

Work Experience:

·        Typically seven plus years successful operations experience within CORESTAFF or a combination of CORESTAFF and a national staffing industry competitor or other local, private or franchised staffing company with superior staffing processes.  Prior industry-related management experience required.

 

Knowledge and Education:

·        Strong preference for Bachelor Degree candidates

·        Must be proficient with PC skills such as: MS Office Suite, Web based software tools and CRM

·        Strong understanding of staffing industry and demonstrated knowledge/capabilities in the areas of financial analysis, human resources/administration, legal and ethical practices, marketing/business development, sales and workers’ compensation/risk management

·        Strong internet research skills with knowledge of relevant employment related social media sites and business contracts

·        Background or orientation in entrepreneurial/sales

·        Preference for fundamentals in human resources concepts and basic employment law regulations in regards to the recruiting and staffing process

·        Excellent planning and organizing skills; able to multi-task responsibilities effectively in a high volume, fast-paced service environment

·        Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written

·        Strong client service skills with the ability to achieve metric driven results

·        Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

·        Demonstrates an effective level of leadership capability and acumen for developing the full line of CORESTAFF human capital service offerings as well as helping assigned  staff achieve their operational production goals; prior successful management experience required

·        Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

 

Travel Requirement:

·         Ability and willingness to travel within region as well as periodic travel for training events and meetings
