Lead Transmission Line Engineer – Jackson, MI (40 miles south of Lansing, MI)

The successful candidate will have the following education/qualifications
· BS and/or MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
· P.E. Registration or have the capability to become registered.
· Experience working on the design of high-voltage electrical transmission lines.
· Experience performing electric transmission line projects – route selection, structural design, foundation design, material specifying, construction bid document preparation and design/construction.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Managing several electric transmission line projects concurrently for various utility clients.
· Supervising a team of 5-7 people to include several electrical transmission line design engineers, designers and CADD operators.
· Performing route selection, structure design, foundation design, material specifying, construction bid document preparation and design/construction liaison as it relates to the design of high-voltage electrical transmission lines.
· Will use state-of –the-art computers and software, writing reports and visiting project sites.
Requirements
