Description

Perform duties of a commercial PV Electrical Installer. You must possess the skills necessary to plan, organize and perform all PV installation activities, such as, racking/panel mounting, equipment & metering installation, substation breaker installation, and associated DC/AC conduit & wire installation. You must be able to meet with clients to coordinate the completion of the roof-top or ground mount arrays.

Responsibilities

1. Ability to take-off required installation material from electrical drawings.
2. Plan and coordinate daily tasks for work crews based on project schedule milestones.
3. Track progress of all installation activities and communicate necessary job status to CEC/Customer.
4. Assist/Perform installation tasks as required, e.g., install rigid & EMT conduits and associated wiring.
5. Coordinate required electrical inspections.
6. Provide a Safety-First approach to all jobsites.

 

Requirements

Requirements:


• Two years experience in installing all types of grid-tied inverters & able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems.
• More than 1 year of commercial PV installation experience.
• Knowledge of 2008 NEC codes that relate to PV installations.
• Must be very organized, and be able to meet aggressive timelines
• Willing to work in the extreme Arizona environment (roof-top heights and heat).
• Need to be able to lift minimum 75 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Pass background and drug tests.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus, but not required.
• NABCEP Certificate of Knowledge is a plus, but not required.
