Description
The Executive Director provides leadership and direction to the agency ensuring consistency with Women's Crisis Center’s mission. Working in partnership with the Board of Directors and its Chair, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall programmatic, financial, strategic and daily operations of the organization.
Requirements
Knowledge and skills at a level typically acquired through obtaining a Master’s Degree in Administration or a human services field. An administrator with minimum five years experience in the non-profit sector who has demonstrated strong management, fund development, strategic planning and budgeting skills. Must possess a commitment to ending violence against women.
Proven track record of a creating a vision and its implementation for agency growth. Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships that will enhance the work of the agency, coordinate and implement the organization’s strategic plan, evaluate progress and allocate resources. Experience in administering a multisource budget over $2 million. Experience in staff supervision and development. Successful experience in teamwork, collaboration and consensus building. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to develop, initiate and maintain new programming and new funding sources. Experience in guiding public policy initiatives.
