Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth, Inc. has been providing services to the Diocese of Fort Worth, which consists of 28 counties, since 1910. Today, we offer over 30 life enhancing programs to meet the every changing needs of our community at large and we do this work to provide help, create hope, and promote justice.
Department: Business Venture Services
Job Summary:
Effectively develop, execute, and evaluate programs/businesses that will diversify Catholic Charities’ funding sources and expand the profit-generating aspect of the agency portfolio. Recruits, supervises, and evaluates program/business staff and drives strategic business development. Works with staff to:
1) Assure quality business development and implementation;
2) Monitor achievement of business plan goals and objectives, and operations within established budgetary guidelines; and
3) Prepare presentations and plans to recommend a variety of business development initiatives to the Vice President of Family and Business Venture Services. Represents and markets new and existing initiatives to the community and potential customers.

Requirements of Director of Business Venture Services :
DEGREE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s Degree in Business or a related field required.
· Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
· At least 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, as well as management and supervision of professionals.
· Must have demonstrated skills in the areas of project management, budgeting, customer service, and data analysis.
- Must have proven skill in implementing business plans, directing new ventures, and achieving revenue goals.
- Must have excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
- Must be able to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have good computer skills, including knowledge of and ability to use effectively the internet and Microsoft Office Package.
- Have working knowledge of budgeting and accounting concepts and procedures.
- Must be able to build relationships and work effectively with community partners and agency staff.
- Must be passionate about the work, mission, vision, and values of Catholic Charities.
- Must be able to effectively motivate staff
- Must be able to think strategically, while keeping a handle on necessary details.
Work Hours:
Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Due to the responsibility of the position, work on the weekends or after hours is needed occasionally.
