Description
Child & Family Support Services is looking to hire a Family Outreach Specialist to support our community-based work in the Flagstaff area. The position will be responsible for promoting family voice, choice and access to help positively impact our partnership with children, young adults, and families.
Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred.

Duties for this position will include:
- Partnering with families
- Assisting families with navigating the behavioral health system
- Welcoming and engaging families in support as well as agency activities and events
- Encouraging family participation at all levels
- Collaborating with agency leadership to promote family involvement
- Helping connect families to community resources
- Partnering with community partners and stakeholders to promote family voice and family-driven care
- Collecting and presenting family feedback regarding satisfaction, ideas for improvement, etc.
- Creating opportunities for families to come together for shared learning
- And other duties as assigned to promote and foster family involvement
Requirements
Applicant must be a parent or guardian of a child that is currently or has been involved in the Behavioral Health System. Must have a desire to partner with other family members in a respectful and hopeful way. Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred.
Candidates are required to be at least 21 years of age, must submit a negative substance abuse test and be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance. Reliable transportation is also required, including proof of insurance and an acceptable driving record.
