Futrend Technology, Inc., a Vienna VA based agile fast growing government contractor is looking for a Management Consultant/Business Analyst to play a key role in assisting Futrend’s government client on a new contract. Successful candidate must have solid consulting in Business Process Design, Development, Re-engineering, Change Management, Communication and Strategic Planning. Successful candidate will also have experience in software requirements engineering—gathering, analysis, and documentation. This exciting contract is to assist the government to evaluate, select a new technology and vendor which will allow them to build an end to end fully automated seamlessly integrated employee process.

 

Management Consultant/Business Analyst is key to the success of this technology procurement by bringing the right requirements into the Statement of Work and Request for Proposal document so that a fair and open competition will bring the government the right technology and right vendor to deploy a fully automated seamless integrated end to end employee process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Determine key stakeholders
  2. Interview executives, stakeholders, end users etc to gather requirements and business process
  3. Document As-is process; design To-Be process
  4. Develop and implement communication plan
  5. Organize, facilitate focus groups to gain buy-ins on the To-Be process
  6. Facilitate requirements meetings; manage requirements process
  7. Create and define functional requirement specifications for integrated systems
  8. Document, validate and manage requirements
  9. Develop and manage requirements traceability matrix
  10. Make recommendations to the client on requirements prioritization
  11. Work with PMO to design, develop new business process and tools to facilitate new process
  12. Design documents templates to track progress
  13. Develop, modify and maintain statement of work, and other procurement document in support of federal acquisition
  14. Develop evaluation process, criteria and assist in organizing vendor/technology evaluation
  15. Assist in the overall procurement process
  16. Participate in vendor evaluation and selection
  17. Assist in other documentation along with technical writers
  18. Maintain, update documents in collaboration tools such as eRoom, SharePoint

Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Must have five (5) to seven (7) years of experience as Management Consultant in federal government consulting environment working on IT and/or HR related systems and processes
  2. Two (2) to Three (3) years experience as Business Analyst in federal government consulting
  3. Proven track record in business analysis and requirements engineering
  4. Strong client interaction skills and customer service skills
  5. Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, management etc
  6. Must be detail oriented, well organized
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Excellent work ethic; ability to work in fast paced environment
  9. Must be a US citizen or Permanent resident
