Licensed Medical Social Worker

Responsibilities of Medical Social Worker includes:

• Assist and counsels home health patients and families with health related financial, social and emotional concerns according to the physician’s orders.

Medical Social Worker - Masters level of Social Work

Requirements for Medical Social Worker includes:

• Meets state and federal requirements for this position.
• A minimum of one year experience as a Medical Social Worker with one of those years consisting of full time experience in providing direct patient care in the home health setting.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in social work in a health care setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Most positions require a Masters degree in Social Work and a state professional license.
• Personal transportation, valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage.
