We are currently seeking experienced Inside Sales Representatives for our Tampa based Sales Center. Customers consist of OEM's, End Users, System Integrators, and Consulting Engineers.
Duties:
This is an Inside Sales position. You will work close with our Sales Engineers or independently and be responsible for the service, sales, and promotion of all AWC product lines in compliance with all company pricing guidelines to achieve maximum gross margin. This position will be responsible for developing existing account while generating new accounts in conjunction with the Field Sales Engineers. The position requires ongoing communication with customers and suppliers to provide technical support, product information, pricing updates, and expedite information.
1) Negotiate with customers and suppliers to establish quotes and orders that will ensure a competitive price.
2) Develop accounts by informing callers of all our value added services.
3) Provide customers with information on products, pricing, and availability.
4) Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively.
5) Pro-actively seek solutions to better serve customers.
6) Maintain up to date customer records.
7) Participate in training sessions and meetings as required.
8) Assist in training new employees as required
9) Be responsible for quality in all facets of customer relations.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4 year college degree or equivalent industry experience (those without a degree or electrical experience need not apply)
- Strong written, verbal, and phone communication skills
- Confident with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at fast pace.
- Familiar with automated order entry system
Preferred/Desired
- Knowledge of electrical distribution and products
- Proven documented success in fore mentioned job specification
