Description

The function of this position is to ensure that all packaging lines in this manufacturing facility perform at optimum efficiency.

This person will monitor and control the operations of several packaging lines from a high tech control room.
Anticipates, recognizes, and rectifies issues affecting production including scheduling, staffing, maintenance, and cleaning.
Directs packaging team leaders in the operations, repair, maintenance, set up and changovers based on real time supervisory systems data.

Requirements

ME or EE degree required OR 4 year degree and experience with PLC's or Wonderwear.
Over 5 years experience working in a packaging production environment (food or pharmaceutical preferred).
Must have a working knowledge of packaging machine maintenance and operations.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems, project management, quality systems management, spreadsheets and word processing.
Strong problem solving skills and communication skills.
