Full-time Contract Occupational Health Nurse

• Develops processes and tools needed to comply with required and proactive strategies for Occupational Health.
• Performs all medical surveillance as required by OSHA.
• Develops, performs, and maintains proactive Occupational Health processes that may be unique to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Develops occupational injury/illness processes that ensure the proper and legal care and transport of employees affected by such events.
• Assists with post offer employment physicals and related tests.
• Assist with the case management of injured workers

• Education: Successful completion of requirements as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 3 years as a practicing Occupational Health Nurse.
• Specific Skills: Ability to perform required medical testing such as pulmonary function tests, audiograms, emergency medical care, first aid/cpr, blood pressure checks, blood samples, drug screens, etc.
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, and Certifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York. Licensing in the State of New Jersey is desirable.
• Certification as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) is a plus.
